I've just returned back to Yorkshire from London after a lovely job in Wood Green. The owners of Charlie's Cafe and Bakery wanted to illustrate the walls and signs. I sat with them for a few hours, pen in hand and drew out a guide of what we wanted to put on the wall. Using photoshop I then tweaked, chopped and changed until they were completely happy with the design. Luckily i've just invested in a mini projector to help me magnify my paper designs onto the wall. After tracing it onto the wall from the projection, in came the chalk!
I don't think it was chalk paint, therefore the chalk didn't wipe away as easily, which was a bit nerve-wracking, so the job took a bit longer than expected as I had to ensure I got it right first time. Note: The cakes and coffee are delicious, i've sampled a few. Pop into the cafe if you are in the area. Its on the high street next-door to Primark. You'll love it!
